INTRODUCING THE NEW SKIDGRIP R140 – MAKING ANTI-SKID PATCH REINSTATEMENT FAST, EASY & COST EFFECTIVE.
SkidGrip R140 is a thermoplastic repair system for anti-skid surfaces. It remains extremely flexible, even in cooler conditions, has anti-skid aggregates impregnated into the surface and has excellent aggregate retention.
The system is ideal for reinstating anti-skid and High Friction Surfaces (HFS) after utility works. Typical examples where these are found include bus lanes, traffic lights, roundabouts and other junction lead-ins. The advanced formulation enables the product to be used all year round.

HOW TO APPLY! STEP BY STEP APPLICATION
STEP 1
Thoroughly sweep surface and ensure it is sound, dry and free from mud, oils and grease.
If necessary, place the sheet in position and cut to shape by scoring with a sharp knife and gently bending back to ‘snap’ clean.
STEP 2
Preheat the area where the sheet will be laid using a gas torch.
Place sheet in position and heat with a two-headed gas torch in a pendulum motion. Heat entire sheet to at least 180°C.
STEP 3
Pour aggregate onto the sheet immediately and lightly brush over the entire sheet, ensuring edges and corners are covered. Thoroughly tamp down aggregate with a suitable tool.
STEP 4
Once the sheet has cooled, lightly brush off excess aggregate and dispose of suitably.
NOTE: Work fast when applying aggregate, this product cools very quickly.
