UTILITY WEEK LIVE 2023

The Meon team were delighted to be exhibiting at Utility Week Live 2023, held at the NEC in Birmingham. Utility Week Live is the UKโs only multi-utility exhibition, attended by over 3,000 industry professionals.
Utility Week Live was created to unite UK utilities, encourage collaboration, innovation and support utility professionals in solving their critical business challenges.
With 5 conference theatres, over 150 industry speakers, 8 โChallengeโ themes addressed during the event and over 200 exhibitors showcasing their products and solutions โ this was not an event to miss.
Meon were excited for such a brilliant opportunity to showcase our services and expertise, alongside our Magma Range, featuring some fantastic HAPAS approved products, to many professionals across the Utilities industry.
Setup
Our Utility Week journey commenced on an early Monday morning as the Meon setup team departed from our main office in Portsmouth, heading for the NEC equipped with our new show stand, that we could not wait to show off.
After the hard work of the setup team, the stand was looking superb and was ready for the next couple of days.
The Event
On Tuesday the Meon event team departed from our headquarters in Portsmouth, filled with anticipation for a productive day of engaging with industry experts. The team looked forward to networking, showcasing our innovative reinstatement and surface repair products, offering advice and expertise to Utility professionals, from all over the UK.
The NEC exhibition hall was packed with professionals from the energy, water and gas sectors. The opportunity to discover brand new ideas and find inspiration from new solutions and innovations for the industry proved incredibly popular, an opportunity that could not be missed by thousands of utility professionals.
The atmosphere of the NEC was surreal, each conference theatre was packed, as practical advice and ideas were shared across both days of the event.
There were 4 main programmes for the event, delivered at the conference theatres โ
The Challenge Programme; Covering innovation for the most critical business challenges facing your business, delivered across 3 stages (Customers & Teams Stage, Smart Stage and the Net Zero Stage.)
The Keynote Programme: With the daunting but thought-provoking theme of โThe New World Orderโ, The Keynote Programme featured discussions on the challenges of climate change, shifting societal expectations and ongoing technological complexity, delivered at the Keynote Stage.
The Innovation Programme: Utility Weekโs partners share insights on the ever so important topic โ Innovations to deliver net zero targets and provide better outcomes for customer, delivered to us at the Innovation stage.
The final programme, The Collaborative Exchange, featured smaller peer-to-peer discussions with an audience and pre set questions prepared for each discussion, allowing the audience to think and prepare questions for each session. Together with the group, the audience had the opportunity to discuss learnings and expertise, to consider solutions to specific challenges facing the sector. Each session in the Collaborate Exchange programme was invite only, so hats off to you if you were important enough to get a place.
