PermaFyx out the tub is stronger than any hot lay bitumen, especially in shallow or narrow areas, where hot lay will fail due to lack of strength.

PermaFyx is not reliant on mass, its strength is gained through the cross links formed during chemical reaction.

For context, the MMA reaction and bond strength of PermaFyx, laid at 20mm, is equivilant to being laid at 100mm.

Challenging Traditional Methods of Practise with Innovative Defect-Free Repair Solutions

Overcoming a notable challenge in this Ironworks reinstatement project was the close proximity between the covers, positioned less than 150mm apart, preventing effective compaction in the area.

We proposed the use of our HardMaster Rapid Set Concrete Bedding and Back Fill System, complemented by our innovative Asphalt Repair Solution, PermaFyx L273.

To further enhance the repair's durability and longevity, it was sealed with UltraCrack L270 to prevent water ingress.

All the reinstatement solutions used in this project are cold applied and require zero compaction, eliminating the need for hot works and compaction equipment during the repair process.

Thanks to its exceptional strength and durability, this ironworks repair is expected to outlast traditional repair systems by several years.
