DEKORGRIP RESIN BOUND

After it was decided that the main traffic carrying bridge in Cosham needed to be replaced, Portsmouth City Council decided to use DekorGrip as they wanted a functional and beautiful result.

The Need:

The main vehicular traffic carrying bridge over the railway line in Cosham needed replacing, with Portsmouth City Council deciding that the new bridge should be functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition to these needs, the project needed to be well-organised and completed quickly.

Solution:

A hardwearing aggregate was specified for this job due to the heavy use the bridge receives - DekorGrip Resin Bound was finally selected in Natural Wicker at a depth of 18mm. The resin was stored at a nearby DekorGrip warehouse to ensure it stayed warm and dry whilst preparation work could be completed.

Summary:

With the help of the DekorGrip team the project was extremely successful. it met it's completion date , keeping the re-opening on schedule and down time to a minimum.
